Heineken Brands Utilize Creative Audience Response Technology at Their National Distributor Conference

Heineken brands utilize audience response technology with a creative display of the polling results at their National Distributor Conference and prove that a glass is often half-full.

At the end of February, Meridia Interactive Solutions was invited to New Orleans for Heineken’s annual National Distributor Conference as a provider of professional audience response technology.  This high profile event at the Crescent City’s beautiful, historic Saenger Theater called for a highly interactive approach blended with their own, custom-branded visuals. Meridia partnered with Arsenal 310, a creative digital studio from Santa Monica, CA who provided the custom graphics for the event’s theme – beer. Meridia’s audience response system seamlessly gathered responses from the 1500 attendees who submitted their answers on important strategic sales & marketing questions in real time.

Throughout the event, more than 5800 responses were collected. Each question was unique & different in content, as well as look & feel. In one case, the responses were so revealing, it caused the speakers to take note and follow-up on the data after the conference.

With the votes flowing in by the hundreds every second, the visual impact of the glass filling up with beer, or the fridge being filled with beer bottles was quite impressive. It built up anticipation and caused a few laughs as well. The plan for a truly interactive meeting was materialized.
